| Well, I decided to make a thread just to put all the spells we know and a brief description of them.
Expelliarmus: Disarming Spell. Disarms your opponent.
Stupefy: Stunning Spell. Knocks the person that has been hit by this spell.
Reducto: Spell that is used to blast solid objects away.
Accio: Summoning Charm. Used to summon objects.
Alohomora: Charm useful to open locked objects, such as doors.
Imperio: Unforgivable Curse. You take the person's control and he/she will do what you ask.
Crucio: Unfogivable Curse. It's a curse that causes intolerable pain and that slowly drives its victim insane.
Avada Kedavra: (unforgivable curse) Kills the victim the moment it touches him/her.
Aguamenti: Produces a jet of water from the witch or wizard's wand.
Protego: Shield Spell. It makes a protective shield between you and your opponent.
Vipera Evanesca: Spell that uses Snape to make Harry's snake disappear.
Obliviate: Spell that modifies the person's memories.
